- Being able to help someone else do something they've always dreamt of doing. And seeing them reach that "OMGA THIS IS SO EASY" point is just hilarious and fulfilling! :)
- Awesome last cell of the year with the Set Apart girls. They amaze me even more each week! And so blessed that they actually got me and Faith gifts and made cards for us! :)
- God healing and restoring relationships that have been difficult for so long. Feeling His love overpouring into my heart and helping me respond lovingly instead of selfishly and impatiently.
- Gary and his cute moments: one morning he was sitting UNDER the umbrella coz of the sweltering heat haha.
- All these divine moments seem to be pouring into my life...I sat near a missionary/evangelist on the bus back and we had an interesting conversation about missions.
- Being treated to a TEN COURSE dinner in KL by some random people I've never met before haha. I am spoilt!
- Quiet dinner with Jo before I left to go back to KL. We had Quiznos and the bread is so toasty and the cookie is served hot! :)
- God transforming a moment I dreaded into something beautiful. An opportunity to share about His realness in my life to someone who openly declared that he didn't believe God exists.
- Tasting the fruits of what I've sown into! Haha and it reminds me, NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE FOR GOD! How nice it is to be worshipping a God who specialises in the impossible! :D
- Keith buying us dinner AND ice lemon tea! :)
- Faith buying me a huge BIG GULP before our cell support meeting! And being able to be the first to hear her good news!
- Justin buying dinner for me coz he was coming over to our house to meet with Mercy. And he happened to buy everything that I was craving for!!!
- OH my professor EMAILING me to say that she mentioned to her sister that I wanted jaffa cakes and her sister bought TWO packets of them for me from the UK! Ahhh :)
- The beautiful girls God has entrusted me to care for. Their hearts always astound me. They have so much of God in them. I am so humbled to be able to learn from them and grow with them as God increases in their lives.
- Beautiful friendships - getting to just sit and talk to Esther Tan after cell, being able to work with Faith, who is always supportive and loving and encouraging! :)
- Ooh getting to try the food from Keith's random cooking experiments! Cheesy chicken! Yummm.
- Hong Wei treating all of us to Macs in the middle of the night hahaha. And he went to get Mercy's cake for us too :)
- Daddy went to Australia and bought tons of chocolates and jelly beans and CHERRY RIPE for me! :D I think he bought them for himself actually, but he forgot to bring them back so now they're mine hehehe.
- Listening to Rem share about how God touched him through someone else's testimony, and being touched myself by the sincerity in HIS words. And the way he goes, "I know that Jesus loves me" when asked about why He believes in God. :):):) Made my heart smile so widely haha!
- Hong Wei buying us xiao long baos and dumplings! And I had really really wanted to eat them hahaha. And also the wonderful boys had ice cream with me just coz I wanted to have some very very badly.
- Haha I was so flustered today I dropped my spoon. Keith walked up immediately and got another one for me. :)
- Haha crazy fun with the classmates! :)
- Travelling to school can be really exhausting but I realise I really need those long stretches of time to just...think. And do most of my clearest thinking then.
- When God just speaks in a clear and unmistakable way.
- Daniel buying me one of those boxes of assorted TimTam flavours! :D
- Aaron coming over to me and wanting to give me a hug! :)
- David telling me we can still call each other every Friday when our prayer chain slots change! :)
- Having people to love! :D
- Precious time with Eve! :) She never fails to draw me to a consciousness of what a wonderfully intricate and personal God God is.
- I really think it is such a blessing to have my own room! I can do absolutely crazy things in it and no one will know! :D
- Pastor Rachel buying us dinner from The Pizza Place! The food there is so incredibly good! But mostly, it was just a joy and privilege to be able to draw from her well of relational wisdom.
- Faith giving me a small packet of Ribena gummies! And I really needed them :)
- Understanding how the fear of the Lord works through my prof haha! She makes me feel extremely comfortable and safe in expressing myself, but something about her also keeps me "scared" enough to push myself to think incisively and concisely. I think that's how God is as well, and how He wants us to relate to Him. :) We know He loves us as we are, and yet He is constantly helping us become better, more ourselves, more like Him. :)
- Having a professor who really stretches me intellectually and believes that I can push the boundaries of thought/ideas and forces me into it.

Having people buy food for me when I'm tired...even without asking. :)
- Faith buying us a huge cup of Yoguru to share! :)
- Having someone to share the visions and dreams that God has deposited into my spirit! And seeing those people being more excited than I am about them!
- Ikea trips + Ikea food!
- Nic Ong always being there to knock sense in me when I'm being insufferably silly!
- Being treasured as a friend worthy of bearing the secrets of one's heart.
- Jo always offering to help whenever she thinks I'm being overworked :)
- Getting loving texts from people I normally mother haha coz I was sick. :) It was so sweet.
- Daniel making a honey drink for me coz I had a sore throat! And Daniel and Mercy buying herbal tea for me on different days :)
- Being reminded that it is okay to be who I am. If God made me with the heart of a warrior, He did so intentionally. I don't have to hide my true nature.
- Being challenged at work. Reminds me there is so much more room for growth in my life. And that's a form of grace!
- Hong Kong drama marathons with Daniel and Mercy! And I found "Triumph in the Skies" for supppper cheap!
- I went to visit Eve at her workplace, but she was the one who blessed me back by treating me to ice cream instead. :D
- God's hand and continuing favour over everything I do. :)
- Finally being able to graduate! It's been a long and tough but fulfilling 4 years. :)
- LOTR watching sessions with Keith, David and Daniel! We were all so amused that David was in love with the dwarf! :p
- Daddy making all his friends eat Padang food coz I was craving for it! But we had fun. PADANG FOOD IS SO YUM!
- Daddy so cute, he called me to see if I wanted to watch a musical coz he could get free tickets! :)
- Whatsapp group chats with Mei and Malvin! :) Hahaha where we toss out words like "simply la". Miss conversations like that :)
- Pastor Rachel bringing food for us when she came to our house to pray. :)
- SEEING that God truly knows what He's doing. Sometimes He frustrates our plans...but always always always only so that He can replace it with one that is infinitely superior!
- Keith and Daniel cooking for us after a long day of exhaustion.
- Receiving all kinds of loving messages from Daniel and Mercy whilst I was away at church camp. :) I really am blessed to have TWO homes with people who love me even more than I deserve!
- My boss ASKING me to claim 15 advance hours before the portal closes...and I don't even work that many hours!
- Even when I had no money...God always provides. Either through the generosity of someone, or money pouring in at JUST the right time.
- David walking back all the way to get tea for me and Jo whilst we were working the registration table. He's really the sweetest-est-est.
- I wanted to quit my job but my boss offered to just let me work from home so I wouldn't have to travel!
- Finally met the boss of Armour and he so kindly offered me a new project even before I had finished the one I was working on...And it was only later that I realised that it represented a partial fulfillment of a dream I always had: to have a publishing house that funds mission work. God is so faithful. And so thoughtful. :)
- Being served by Matt :) And him always thinking of other people even before they bring up their needs! :) I've missed having Matt around!
- Grandpa being my listening ear whenever I feel emotionally exhausted. And buying me countless meals and upsizing them for me :)
- Being....wanted.
- The innocence and pure love of young girls really touched my heart!
- Nice, quiet time with Rem at the side of the pool where we got to dangle our feet in the water. And just share about some of our fears and what it was like to move out of our comfort zone and face them :)
- Rem getting me a cup of Ice Cream Soda and serving it to me :)
- Rem randomly appearing before me at the supermarket and asking if I wanted to eat pretzels! And he really bought ONE HUGE BAG for us to share! :D
- Went to watch Pirates with Veron and Daniel...and it was supposed to be HER birthday treat but she bought us this HUGE tub of popcorn that she didn't touch at all! And it was so nice to be able to just get to know her. :)

- Seeing someone enjoy your presents for them :)

- Actually being in ANOTHER country with the sisterhood. So blessed to be able to make it. So blessed to have people I love with me. :)

- Going swimming with Daniel, Mercy and Veron! Sliding down the slides at the same time!
- Warm, wonderful love in my new home. And all the practical lessons that I'm learning here about what it means to love someone haha.
- Pastor Rachel blessing me financially and prayerfully for my graduation trip to Italy!
- Nice, quiet time with Esther Tan where I got to hear her heart on leadership. :)
- Daniel really being like a real father to me haha paying for all my meals! :)
- Mummy texting me, "praying for you".
- Daddy and mummy giving me money for my grad trip. I feel so bad every time they do because even though it's nothing much for me when I convert it into SGD, it is a lot of money for them in RM.
- Comforting conversations over comfort food with Nic Ong! It's nice to be able to have someone who just GETS YOU and with whom you can lay out your thoughts and not have to explain or justify them.
- God answering my prayers instantaneously! And every time He answers them, He multiples the blessings that I receive through them! :)
- Laugh-till-cry moments with the sisterhood over Fish & Co. Sisterhood nights are always the best ever!
- Hilarious conversations over sushi buffet. Discovering new things about people. :)
- Having Mercy and Daniel mother and father me! Haha Mercy bought me a wastepaper basket, Daniel got me a book shelf! And Mercy even put pillow covers over my extra pillow and bolster! And Daniel is always asking if I'm coming home to eat! Haha.
- Mercy telling me to "come home and I'll cook for you" the moment I reached Singapore.
- The privilege of having quietness and peace.
- Seeing people grow in accepting and becoming who God intended them to be.
- Mummy baking muffins with me!
- DURIAN ROLL! BEST THING EVER!
- Having a family. Being able to see and experience first-hand what it means to serve God. Knowing that God will take care of my future and my children's future, merely because two people chose to gave their lives to God.
- Daddy dates with daddy at the supermarket! :) Where he always buys my favourite fruits for me. :)
- Getting treated to meals by so many people: grandpa, random aunties, Faith & Esther, Keith!
- Being able to learn from grandpa's well of wisdom and knowledge.

- Keith helping me carry my cupcakes without me having to ask! Haha might have tripped and embarrassed myself in public and ruined the cupcakes otherwise. :p
- Christy buying and treating me to fried fish noodles. :)
- Lunch with Ah Ying after A MILLION YEARS. Dear Ying, I love hanging out with you, so let's lunch more often!!
- Cupcakes from Delicious with Mei! Funny girl was SO EXCITED seeing the gummy bear cupcakes. When Malvin came back from the toilet, she looked at both of us and asked, "Whose idea was this?" Also, "I think the both of you have enough room for one more meal, not just dessert."
- Dinner with Mei and Malvin! Best part of my trip back home even though the food was meh.
- Mummy helping me mix the batter and the icing for the cupcakes!
- My daddy going out of his way to help me go out of my way to do things for people I love :):):)
- Pastor Rachel buying me one of those cute doraemon-like buns for breakfast. Not sure it'll last that long though. :p
- Isaac paying for dinner hahaha. He said, "Consider this down payment for the cookies."
- Aaron going crazy at the mention of mutton [YAY for mutton-loving friends!] and instantly whipping out $10 to buy all of us mutton and chicken satay hahaha!

- Aaron opening the car boot for me and Eve so we could get out. :) And then walking all the way with us to the bus stop because it was dark and we didn't know the area very well.
- Eve counting to 5 when she hugs me so that we'll fulfill our "5 hugs per day" quota that is apparently essential to make one human.

- Raj & David taking the train with me all the way to Boon Lay from Changi so I could sleep without missing my stop. :) So nice to have gentlemanly brothers.
- Keith and I got on a cab with a super nice cab driver! :) We actually told her to make a wrong turn so she had to turn back all the way but she didn't charge us for the part where we took the wrong turn!
- Rem sportingly helping me out when I was all over the place!
- Rem saying "thank you" to us for NO REASON at all hahaha. Just find it amusing how he always goes "thank you" all the time.

- Prawning with Matt, Keith, Eve, Sarah, Esther Tan, Esther Glory, Wen Fang! Hahaha it was so fun and I actually made the first catch! Thanks Keith for helping me prepare my baits and getting the prawns off the hook for me. Barbecued fresh prawns are sooooo incredibly yummy!
- Daddy telling me, "Thanks for cheering me up" even though I didn't do anything but just sit next to him and listen to him talk about his rough day.
- Daddy buying me instant lentil soup and tomato soup for "days when it's raining" hahahaha. So cute lar my daddy!
- Fun, cozy lunch with Jo, Eve and Faith! It's nice to actually be able to hear each other and talk to each other haha.
- Matt kindly helping me out at Hungrry coz I was so tired I couldn't wake up.
- Me, Esther Tan, Mel, Xinyi and Peace dipping our legs in the kiddy pool before the barbecue! So fun! I need to go swimming again! I miss the water.
- Crazy dinner with the sisterhood! After 8 months, we finally sat down together for a meal again! :D
- Wen Fang getting a drink for me when we ran out of drinks!
- Mummy making so many cookies and fruit cake for me to bring back to SG! :D
- Pizza party with Jo, Matt and Keith hahaha. Felt like we were a family eating a family meal. :D
- Uncle Au so kindly driving 9-10 hours A DAY to send me back to Singapore. :S And he brought me to eat traditional Malay fish curry on the way haha. How are such people SO selfless?
- Reconnecting with old friends I haven't seen in YEARS! It wasn't awkward or weird at all like I thought it would be, but it felt like we had been hanging out with each other all the time for years!
- Yay, having friends who drive! :p Hahaha thanks Mei for driving me out and Siew for driving me home!
- Playing with my little 4-year-old cousin who forced me to do lots of silly things and insisted on sitting next to me all the time.
- One of my cousin's wives exchanging secret smiles with me as I talked to the little kids and played with them hahaha. They are hilarious.
- Having awesome extended family members to eat with and celebrate life with. :)
- Getting to talk to some of my far removed relatives whom I've never really talked to before. One of them asked me, "Do you like vampires? Twilight?" HAHAHAHA.
- CNY came at the perfect time this year! I was starting to run out of money to survive on, and everyone seems to be so generous this year! :D
- Jo sending me a list of reasons why she misses me. It's so nice to get text messages even when I'm out of the country. :)
- Mei driving so far just to see me and bring me out to eat. :D She's still so hilarious after all these years hahahaha.
- GETTING TO OPEN MY PACKAGE FROM IRELAND! It contained about 8 bags of salt and vinegar chips from various brands, a letter, and the official Liverpool FC Annual 2011. :D
- Finally receiving Nic Ong's Christmas card in the mail! Hahaha and it was such a sweet and beautiful message. :)
- The Au's bringing me for mamak when I reached KL.
- Keith carrying my luggage for me again too haha while I was struggling with my bag at the bus stop.
- Rem randomly going, "Let me give you a hug...a rare hug!" before I left hahahahaha.
- Jo cooking lots of food for us on the barbecue grill!
- Faith, Peace and Keith sending me off at the bus stop! And we had ice cream on the way there...but I didn't get to finish it coz they wouldn't let me eat ice cream on the bus. :(
- Daniel importing chocolates and Chex Mix for me all the way back from San Francisco. :D
- Justin carrying my luggage for me again! :D
- Fun dinner and FONDUE with Pastor Rachel. Sitting under the sky outside Marina Square just talking.

- Much delayed but fun and relaxing birthday dinner with Jo at Food for Thought! We wanted to have TWO cakes but ended up having only one [FERRERO ROCHER CAKE *DIES*] and ice cream as well! :D

- Got my first birthday gift from the Au's and it was exactly what I wanted/needed - money! Hahaha.
- Lambertz Coffee-House Butter Cookies!!!
- Lamb shank and potatoes!!! The whole family - from the people to the animals - had a happifying feast tonight. And I got 2 whole potatoes all to myself. :p
- Daddy cooking steak and potatoes for me. :D Even though he had a dinner to go for!
- Daddy giving me money and telling me to "EAT MORE!" when I go back to SG. Hahahaha I think he kinda thinks I starve myself there. :S
- Building each other's house of dreams with Jo. :)
- Watching a live Liverpool game for the first time in CENTURIES and they won! :D
- Late night suppers with daddy! That's as close as I can get to having any daddy dates these days!
- Had the most hilarious conversation with Matt Sng. :p "You have 4 years to change your mind and stay in Singapore." "4years? Why 4 years?" "Coz I'll be back then, and it would be gruesome to have to travel to Malaysia all the time just to see you."
- We arrived in church way too early so Aunty Sharon whisked me off to have nasi lemak and teh tarik!
- Receiving New Year messages/texts from Raj, Char Sng, Esther Tan, Jolynn Wang, Ying, Mercy :)
December 2010:
- Dinner and supper with eldest uncle and family! :) Nice way to end 2010!
- Receiving the sweetest Christmas texts from Eve and Matt.
- Having almond and cherry tart to go along with my Anne books reading sprees. :p
- Eve ... and all the beautiful and flattering words that just POUR out of her mouth hahaha.
- Finding a family I can truly LIVE LIFE with!
- Privileges of being a PK: Daddy prays for someone, someone gets healed, I get free steamed fish/multiple meals. :p
- The Au's bringing me out for yummy Japanese Shabu Shabu. Was SO full could hardly move. Oh and I had FOUR scoops of ice cream. :D
- Keith telling me, "Don't think so much lar! Don't come back to Singapore with white hair!" HAHAHAHAHAHA
- Long talks with Nic Ong! We were laughing at how we used to say we'd never go near certain types of people years ago and now they are the ones we LOVE TO BITS haha.
- Bumping into Jewel at the mask shop so I got a free ride all the way back to her beautiful, cozy little condo!
- Eve going all the way to Bugis with me to get me my lion mask hahaha.
- Being a kid again with Eve at the Science Center! We had SO MUCH fun at the Sound area! And playing with this digital postcard thingy.
- Matt SITTING by his laptop waiting for me to come online so he could persuade me to go for the superheroes costume party hahaha. And he called Jewel to make sure I didn't have to dress up, just so I would go. Aiyo haha feel so loved!
- Dan Dan really treats me the way a daddy/big brother would! :) I told him I was craving for fish & chips with vinegar and he INSTANTLY made plans to bring me to this yummy fish & chip place in Chinatown and it was SOOOOOOOOOOOOO GOOD! Fluffiest fish & chips ever!
- I was so touched that all the men ate crappy, overpriced prata/murtabak/briyani/naan for me. :):)
- Also got to hang out with Malcolm and Alex and they were HILARIOUS. Alex said, "When you go to Malaysia you realise how ridiculously expensive everything in Singapore is" and grandpa said, "We should all migrate to Malaysia!" That would save me a lot of heartache. :D
- Haha dinner with grandpa and Keith! When I arrived grandpa said he was bringing me to a special shop that had opened specially for me and it turned out to be an overpriced prata shop that sold extremely THIN prata and had very messy service. But I was touched that he went out of his way to make me happy and even ordered mutton for me even though he can't have any, haha!
- I had a WHOA GOD moment. Was complaining to God about something minor that makes me feel left out and unloved and I didn't even think God would take it seriously because no one ever does. And then suddenly Wen Fang texted me and said, "you are well loved becky! :)" and I was just overwhelmed by God and the way He uses people to speak at the right moment!
- "God-sent, the happy pill to everything. And I've told you before and I will tell you again, You are made of glittery genius! Yet humble at the same time, I like! xINFINITY :)
- Shereen waiting with me for my next paper after American Lit even though she only had an hour of sleep coz she was scared I was so depressed I would jump off some building hahaha.
- Aunty Stella baking pineapple tarts for me and leaving 2 bottles waiting for me at home. :)
- Sharing a Carl's Jr combo meal with Jo :)
- Justin giving me 3 chunks of char siew coz Keith messed up my order and I didn't get what I wanted to eat for lunch :(
- Faith lending me her earphones so I could block out all the noise from the jamming and concentrate on my readings :)
- GAHHHHHH being tricked by Keith and Matt!!!

- Justin going, "YOU DON'T HAVE SHOES? WE NEED TO GET YOU SHOES!" and insisting we should hang out and have dinner before I go back to KL.
- Vibrant boys being exceptionally sweet to me lately! Rem came over after service and asked if I was ok, then specially came into the youth room to say bye to me when he was going home.
- "We could never forget you...what more your birthday!" Sometimes it's easy to forget that people value me haha and God always sends people to remind me that my life is highly valued not just by Him, but by the people around me too. And that even after YEARS of almost non-communication, the people whose lives we touch will never forget us.
- "You have a part of Jesus, coz you are thoughtful." :):):)
- Eve sharing one of her many dreams with me! :) It's so amazing and beautiful, I really believe it will come to pass one day!
- Had dinner and watched "Tangled" with my roomie and neighbour! Reminds me that there is so much potential for the development of beautiful friendships all around me! :)

- Feeling God's presence saturating a tiny slum and KNOWING that God has so much in mind for them.
- Getting to pray for the women and the kids at the slums :)
- Being part of the fun-est group with the most hilarious moments, people I can work with and be real with. :)
- Hahaha Matt doing his "big brother" thing again! "Who was mean to Becky? Let me whack that person!"
- Justin and Keith offering to carry my luggage for me!
- Hearing the church sing "Soraklah Haleluya" with so much energy was really an AMAZING moment for me and Jo.
- My wonderful angel Faith blessing me with so many beautiful things! A red flower balloon, the sweetest note, paddle pop ice cream, pudding arranged in the shape of a butterfly :)
- Daniel buying me a whole ice cream cake to myself coz the rest finished the ice cream cake whilst I was sick in bed!
- Late night talks with Esther Tan :) I value her heart and honesty so much. And it's hilarious how we kept saying, "YEAH I ALSO WOULD HAVE DONE THAT. BOTH OF US ARE REALLY EXACTLY THE SAME!" to each other's stories.
- Getting the best roomie ever! Hahaha we both value sleep more than food :p
- Grandpa getting me a whole plate of kuehs coz it was the only thing about dinner that I enjoyed eating haha. And after that everyone thought I was OBSESSED with the kuehs.
- Hahaha receiving interesting words of affirmation :) And Elysia said, "She's gonna remember everything we said." Unfortunately I can't really, but thank you all for believing in me, and especially Wen Fang for saying that you think I have inner beauty :)
- Staying in Pastor Rachel's house the night before camp...and sleeping on the FLUFFIEST BED EVER. How does she make herself get up in the morning?
- Someone who doesn't wish to be identified paid for my lunch :)
- Eve giving me a random little notebook with a matchstick on it and the most beautiful love letter inside it :)
- Fish & Co and random shopping trip with Nic Ong and Shereen after a long day of rushing essays hahaha. :) And knowing each other's styles so well we can pick out clothes for each other!
