With the sweet and wonderful Set Apart girls :)
Judging by the gifts I've been getting, this year has been a year of abundance so far! Hahaha. Chinh and Rachel got me a wallet for Christmas and my birthday, and the Set Apart girls ALSO got me a wallet.
HeBrews bought me a nice sweater [I've actually been quite obsessed with sweaters and have been wanting to buy one from American Eagle but all the nice ones are out of my size :/], which I showed Mercy, who has been listening to all my sweater talk. And I don't know why she went out and bought me a sweater for my birthday too! Unfortunately Singapore's weather is not very sweater-friendly, but I'll try to wear all of them!
So yeah, I've been getting doubles of everything - hopefully it'll also mean this year will bring with it double portions of grace, double portions of love, double portions of favour, double portions of God-ness, double portions of strength, double portions of compassion, double portions of wisdom, double portions of revelation!

With the cake HeBrews bought for me. :) Haha and the adorable little boys who wanted to be part of the picture! :D
Haha Sunday morning when I woke up, Daniel went, "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!"
"It's not my birthday yet!"
"I know...it's Wednesday. I'll buy you a cake okay? What else do you want?"
Mercy (exasperated): "BABYYYYYY! THE POINT OF A SURPRISE IS THAT YOU DON'T TELL PEOPLE WHAT YOU'RE GONNA DO!"
Then when we were sitting at the prata shop having breakfast before church, we saw Keith walking to church, so we called him over. Keith was holding a cake HAHA.
When he finally made his way over, this Daniel said, "Wah this cake for Becky one ah?" IN FRONT OF ME even though everyone already knows it's impossible to plan a surprise haha.
And later, "Eh what cake you bought for Becky?"
"When are you planning to surprise her? After service?"
Poor Keith looked super pek chek-ed and refused to say anything hahaha.
After service, again this Daniel, who happened to be sitting just behind us, went, "Eh where's the cake? Are you going to surprise Becky now?"
He went on and on like this the whole of Sunday until he had no energy left to wish me on my actual birthday hahahaha.
