Life is never short of drama when you have Indian friends haha - denial-of-Indian-roots-drama, inescapability-of-Indian-roots-drama, arranged-marriage-drama, etc...

My Cup Runneth Over: February 2012

Jewel giving me a few little tubs of jams coz she thought I would like them! I'm gonna bring them with me to India in case I get tired of curry ;)

Lazy, loungy days! :) Swam 30 laps in the morning in Xinyi's resort-like pool, then we watched The Help and New York Minute! And her mum was so sweet, she ordered pizza for us! :)
Getting a cute sheep card and a little tub of mini M&M's from Pastor Rachel :)
Quality time every Thursday afternoon with Faith. Feels like we're on a weekly date hahaha.
Yay getting a little bag of Jagabee potato sticks from Nic! Who also gave me a ride home!! So nice to have friends with a car!! :D
Pastor Julie paying for our lunch! So sweet...and made me realise we really should make more of an effort to just hang out with the adults and get to know them!
Hong Wei and Justin buying lunch for us after church. It's so nice to be taken care of :)
Daniel treating us to a "farewell dinner" at Crystal Jade before he left for Japan. It's so nice to be so well fed :)
Finding blogs/videos of people who held on to their dreams even when it was hard, reminding me that I should never let things in my life embitter me and push myself away from God's hand of blessing.
Whenever Daniel buys a new book, he gets really excited and will text me about it or show it to me when he comes home! Haha I think it is so cute, and I think I am so blessed to be staying with people who love books so much! He bought the Bonhoeffer book that Chinh wanted me to read but I didn't want to be reading on my holiday! :p
Finally getting my birthday "tart" haha. Jo bought a pavlova for us to share and it is soooooooooooo yummy. I think my pavlovas might be my new favourite thing, they're so light!
Faith giving me an extra tub of very addictive chocolate chip cookies coz I mentioned that I loved it the last time she gave it to me! :) And buying me gong cha hahaha. And we shared comfort food together - not realising we were both sick-ish, and made each other sicker.
Mercy coming home tiredly from work and still offering to cook dinner for me :)
Whatsapp group chats with Mei and Malvin. They crack me up! :)
