There Must Be More

I am tired of playing games in church.

There is no power in the church because we do not desire it.

We are content with just playing games.

We are content with religiosity.

We are content with just having the presence of God because that's how we measure all our worship these days - by whether or not God turns up - instead of desiring for His power to be made manifest in our churches and in our lives.

I am tired of a church so content with explaining away our lack of holiness with "pure motives" and "heart" as justifications.

We are deceiving ourselves if we think that we can just come together once every 2-3 months and pray and God will actually hear us and move in our lives and our churches. We don't even realize that we are mocking and insulting God with such a paltry offering.

Only prayers that are prayed in the secret place, and that have pierced our hearts and become fire shut up in our bones, and been wept over, will emerge as darts that will destroy the works of the enemy. Everything else is just a performance.

We are so content with worshipping only for the here and now, we are so self-centered, that even though we pray a million times for God to reveal His heart to us, we refuse to see what is actually on His heart because it is "not my calling". "I don't feel led to pray in this area."

If you want all of God, you want ALL of God.

Otherwise, you are desiring for nothing except the desires of your own flesh.
