On Growing Up

Today at lunch, Ying and I were talking about how terrifying it is to be turning another year older soon. And it was so hilarious how we both went, "I STILL FEEL LIKE I'M 12!" exasperatedly at the same time.

Haha I've missed all of you crazy people. :)

I told Mercy last night that I feel like I ought to be more mature in every way now that I'm getting older and how I feel like I'm so frivolous [and sometimes, when I look at my friends in Malaysia, I fall into the temptation of thinking I've accomplished nothing in my life and should be out there trying to get a high-flying job and a degree from one of the best universities in the world. Hahaha next time if I have kids, I'm gonna make sure they get normal friends :p] and silly sometimes and she said, "EH I'M 30 AND I'M STILL LIKE THAT LOR!" and then proceeded to tell me about how she has this 40-year-old colleague who is also the same way.

Hahaha that DOES bring me a LEETLE comfort. :p

Then how do other people just wake up and find themselves behaving like "adults"?!!
